Originally from London, ON, Hannah has been performing and training in contemporary dance in Canada and abroad for the past eight years. From 2011-2015, Hannah was training and performing with Dasein Dance Theatre (London, Canada), under the artistic direction of Lacey Smith. In 2015, she traveled to Italy to participate in a one-year intensive dance training program through the Leggere Strutture Art Factory International. Following this program, Hannah worked professionally with Compagnia Balafori (Milan, Italy), a dance-theatre company under the artistic direction of Alessandra Costa, and Compagnia DNA (Bologna, Italy), under the artistic direction of Elisa Pagani. In January, 2017, Hannah attended the Disha Dance International Dance Gathering in Kochi, India – a two-week contemporary and Indian dance intensive led by artistic director Saju Hari and sisters Sade and Kristina Alleyne (Akram Khan Company). Currently, back home in London, Hannah teaches guest workshops and creates choreography for companies and schools across the city. Her upcoming projects include: choreographing Seussical The Musical (London District Christian High School; Mar. 2019), choreographing Curtains: The Musical (Original Kids Theatre Company; Mar. 2019), and choreographing and performing in Angels in America: Parts 1 and 2 (Calithumpian Theatre Company, Nov. 2019). She also acts as the co-artistic director of Public Displays of Art, and is so excited to spread her love and joy of movement across the city of London, Ontario!
